April Hinton Mixon, the founder of With Grace Charm and Etiquette School, is no stranger to grinding gracefully. She has been involved with etiquette and pageants for over 15 years. She has gained a reputation in the Black Belt region for her amazing charisma she possessed while on stage. She has wowed judges in every pageant she ever competed in so much so she has never competed in a pageant and not placed. April has been a judge, consultant and resource for many women's seminars, corporate trainings and pageants throughout the last fifteen years both locally and nationally. Exhuming through a plethora of issues and trauma, Mixon is proof that dedication is key to grinding.
As a woman gracefully grinding, April stays on the move. She presently trains young ladies to embrace their feminine sides through private and group etiquette courses and workshops. She hosts an annual women’s conference catering to the needs and encouragement of women that has been recognized by the state Senate each year consecutively.
Mixon is nominated for inclusion into the Who’s Who Among Executive and Professional Women Registry. She is employed with University of Montevallo. She has spent many years serving on the Shelby County Education Support Personnel Board of Directors and being an active member of Alabama Education Association. She is the Chief Ministerial Officer for Unity Christian Center, Inc. where her husband, Pastor Sylvester Mixon, Jr. is pastor. She is the loving mother of three children, Caleb, Joshua, and Gracie.
